hey.. that's ok my dear.. i understand where u'r coming from. no harm done.

maybe this is a related case, but nothing to do with you. I also have nephews and nieces who used to enjoy going back kampung when they were still kids. when they grow up, they mix with different kind of crowd, their mindset change, and so does their lifestyle.

When they balik kampung, they brought with them their 'town attitude'.. they complaint about everything, they expect to be served whereas in kampung is tolong-menolong spirit, they would compare us folks and what we have, with what they have in town. All the while, they expect us to smile and assume that they are just joking.

But we don't. We have our own pride too. Yes, kids are kids. But as our age difference is not that much, we do feel hurt by it. I understand completely when in the end they decided not to spend their holiday in kampung anymore.

So there. Hope it helps to be able to see from the two side of coins now.

yeah, sometimes, town-attitude made the villlagers looked you differently...huhuh
but another times, i hope they won't see me like i am an alien... hehehe

tolong-menolong spirit is fun...
all than that, i prefer this... why?
only this time, i felt that the villagers will smile at me... even the girls...
and this is the time where they will show their friendly with me...
:D Thanks Sis...

Dear..
hate as much as you want, they are still your flesh and blood. nobody is perfect, sometimes it's not totally other people's fault. i know. it's difficult to see yourself from other people's eyes.

I am a simple orang kampung, but I am pissed off too when people differentiate between org kampung and town. Been living in KL for 12 years, yet there was still a person who called me org kampung. It did not hurt me if they called me that, but it hurt me when they label my parents as org Kampung, so what? the town is only a drive away.. what is so great about it? :D

if only one stop and try to think why org kampung did they way they do, one will understand why, and maybe become more accepting. org kampung are normally humble, and with simple minds too.

then again, our situation might be different altogether, so the solution might be different too. hope you don't take this personally.

thanks.

huhuhu
i don't meant this to all kampong people... i just said it to my villagers...
just hate their attitude and everything... i mean them in my village...
my mum too kampong people...

i don't look down to all kampong people...that's true...
some kampong people are so humble and polite...
but this don't goes to my kampong...

honestly here, i really hate my kampong in bau...
it's too much different from my another kampong..

if this not happened, i sure won't hate the Kampong of mine in Bau...

hope you tak kecik hati la...
i tak maksud kan smua...
i just maksudkan my kampong people...
k?k?k? :D
