Masterskill & Family Gathering

Waa…. I’ve been busy updating all my blogs… That’s hard of having too many blogs… LOL I’ve been very busy this week… Busy entertaining guests from Klang… Busy with my own life… and busy doing things…

2085

Yesterday, I went to BSN so open new account and PTPTN… but it wasted my times waiting actually… I was waiting for 2085 for my turns from 2040… But thank God the accountant there was kind enough to wave at me and asked me everything… When I said, I was going to open PTPTN account and BSN, he said I do  not have to open BSN account, because PTPTN account and BSN account are different… So, thanks to the guy, he helped me during my half an hour waiting… :D *even though I knew he tries to flirt with me..but nevermind… as long as I don’t need to keep waiting until my turn…LOL*

Then, I managed to get myself Laksa Sarawak… Going for food alone would not be that nice, when you used to have someone next to you and eat with you…huhuhuh I left as soon as I finished my meal… On the evening then, I went to Masterskill Campus next to Sarawak Plaza for a briefing… and I was not alone… My mum and dad accompanied me there… They advetised it on Borneo Post too about the briefing… and hell God, when I reached there… They were only 8 of us were coming (excluding 3 parents)..waa!!! I thought it will be maybe more than 20 persons were going, but I was wrong…

The briefing mostly talked about the cost, new campus in Kuching, and moslty talked about nursing... *well,I’ll be going for the nursing coarse* Setted all that, they gave us Soya Bean drinks… *yuks* I hate Soya Bean and I could not stand the smells from milk or soya bean… but they gave it to me… and one that small hall were having their soya drinks, and the smells occupying the hall… Damn!!! Registrations went done… The fee? We’re actually asked to pay RM750 for deposit… but yesterday they asked only for RM 200…and the rest, will be deducted from my PTPTN… huhuhuh my coarse fee is RM52K… wow!!! Thank God we have the PTPTN… :D

Done all that, we rushed to my kampong… *sorry to my friend, I can’t attend her barbecue party*Why? my mum’s family having dinner… Family gathering la… so, It was quite fun… I was called nurse that whole night and was asked to do this and that just because of the nurse title I will be using soon… *in three years times… LOL* I was asked to put up fire for the barbecue… and guess what? I  managed to do it, bot only for one barbecue set but two!!! I’m so proud of myself… Still keep the scouting spirits in me… LOL

dsc05141

Me, my dad and my second eldest brother took charge for the barbecue… We were roasting the ducks, chickens, corns, and fish… and hell, for the first round, all of our chicken turned very black… LOL hangus… but then, we realisd the charcoal were too many and we got to move it a bit and we have to roast all of it not for long… so that it won’t hangus…kekekeke

done with that, of coarse la makan… We have too many foods on the table… I took chickens, and vegetables… the menus were Mee Tom Yam, Ulam Paku, Itik Panggang, Ayam Panggan, Ikan Panggang, and what else? Can’t remember… But we managed to finish it all without anything left… I was just very full…and tired… Went home and bathed… and immediately went to sleep… hurgghh!!! LOL

Masterskill

Just now, I went on looking for subjects I will be learning in my nursing later… and it just hard….huhuhuhuhuh I hope I can do it… Three years studying nursing… and I would like to go for degree in nursing… but it’s in Sunderland and UK… or maybe, I would really love to take the specilisation… I want to be an orthopedic nurse… a patient (me) treats another patient…

and now, I declare myself craving so much for my Famous Amos… Damn!!!!

Oh, congrats on escaping Form 6! :p Best of luck in nursing studies. A lot of people think that’s it’s an easy subject and only people yang nak belajar senang take nursing but I have lived with 4 nursing students here in Australia…and I myself tak berani buka their textbooks. It’s not an easy career to study! I’d much rather read my tax or law textbook, thank you very much!

Hahahaha
Sis, Im not sure about the books… but I was told, it’s not easy to be in nursing coarse… tak senang for people yang tak nak belajar… LOL

Hi Amiey,

Been reading yours and Cyril’s blog for a while. Great choice to go into nursing. Bright future. Saw the picture of the soya bean can and the background have the La Trobe University on it. Personally I studied at La Trobe in Melbourne and La Trobe is the best nursing school in Australia. (I am not a nurse)

Definitely it’s a tough course with the clinical and all the medical things that you’ll have to go thru. But basically same as doctor, nurse is in need in so many countries and the pay is good as well. Besides, it’s easy if you are thinking of migrating to other country as well but Kuching is definitely the greatest. Being a Kuchingite myself living overseas for about 8 years now, I do miss Kuching too.

But congratulations on your choice! It’s a good one. Good Luck!

Patrick

Thanks for dropping by… :)

and thanks for sharing….

yeah,,,, some might say, being a nurse is good… because the job is there waiting for you after you’ve done the studies… but In Masterskill, to have a degree or specialization, you’ve to go far…. or somewhere outside the country… and this is hard for me especially… :) and the pay…. yeah… I agree with what people say…. It’s good… :D

but, now… I still can have my degree in Kuching too… for top up time… Meaning, for part time… They have it full time, but I’m not sure in Kuching… :D

By the way, you’re not nurse, then? Doctor? LOL

@Amiey
Well, i’m no where near the medical field. I am an Automation Engineer originally from Kuching, studied at La Trobe Uni’s main campus in Bundoora, Melbourne and now working in England.

What you can do is always to get a diploma first and then proceed from there to either do a distance learning over some university overseas or doing a local course. It could be expansive to actually leave Kuching some more the cost could be quite a fair bit but if you’re willing to do it, go for it! I would definitely encourage that.

Not sure about Masterskills and nursing course as I am not the best to consult you about it but definitely a good choice. Well done! If you can complete it in Kuching, it’s great too!

Hahaha If I were to go for another high level, i would like it to be happened in Kuching… not going if it’s too far…. :D

Automation E? wow!!1 that’s fun… Love that field too… but that’s only a desire… not intention to go for it for my future,,, it’s tough, for a girl like me… :D Thanks anyway.. for sharing…. :)
