Last Monday, after too much fun taken during the RWMF last Saturday, Cyril and me decided to have medical check up just for some precaution for H1N1…. Yeah, people mostly did not want to go to the RWMF because of this… but I went there, so It’s better for me to go for some medical check up to avoid the unwanted sickness soon…
So, On Monday morning…. we reached there and saw the H1N1 counter was so emptied… There were no hospital staffs and even a patient… all I could see was the machines and instruments use to check H1N1…
So, we waited and waited until gone bored… Then, a doctor came, but he stood outside instead of entering the place… he asked us to pick up the call when the phone rings… and yeah, he actually asked everything through phone… Maybe he was scared to be around people suspected for H1N1… So, all things happened through phone… when he asked all he needs, he then asked one of his staff to have practically check Cyril and me…
What did they checked? They checked my body temperature… and heart-beat… and even the blood pressure…. other than that, they asked us whether we have those H1N1 symptoms… such as coughing, flu, high fever and any else…. when you have some sort of flu, they will ask, since when you started to cough for example… and as for me, I started to have dry-cough, flu and even head ache a day after leaving the RWMF…. and even worst, I could not really sleep with the headache in my head…. together with coughing and flu, to sleep is not a bless time for me…. it sucks!!!
And to my surprise, and even all in the room were surprised too… My blood pressure is quite high… I was asked whether I had medical history before… But I said no… and they checked me up for the second time… could not believe it about my high blood pressure… See, instead of going to have check up on H1N1, i got to know myself having a high blood pressure… No wonder sometimes I had a very bad headache… and even frequently vomits when the times is quite bad… huhuhuhuhuh
My Vital sign:
First check up @ 10 am: BP=144/117 ,Pulse=90, SPO2=100/RA, Temp= 36.7
Second Check up @ 1015 am: BP=127/91, Pulse=91, SPO2=100/RA, Temp=36.7
I experienced this also, just because of my headache…. I fainted while taking off all my clothes to bath… but thank God, I did not managed to take it all off… because, that was the time where my father and mother was not home… and even my brother… so, no transport to bring me to the hospital… the only way was, my neighbor… Thank God, he was at home… and supposed to go to work during the evening… I fainted early, and they managed to save my life by sending me to the emergency center at hospital… and yeah, I’m still living now… and just knew about my health condition which is not that good…
So after the precaution check up, Cyril and me were given three-days sick leave…. why? I’m not sure too… maybe just for a precaution though…. Seems that Cyril works in school, and they don’t want the whole school to be quarantined later, so they maybe want Cyril to be at home and only gone for works when he feels really okay…
But guess what? Is it logic you ask someone to be quarantined 7-days at home, but you only give him/her three-days sick leave? It’s funny you know when we knew we were only given three-days sick leave so that we could self-quarantine for 7-days… Still Cyril have to go to work when the sick-leave is over right which is the third day of his self-quarantine? lol….and according yo my pamphlet here, they said, their Health Officer will make spot-check to make sure you really does it the self-quarantine, but even until now… my third day of 7 days self-quarantine, there are no people from health sector come to make up the spot-check… :)

From what I know, the self-quarantine is self-initiated. No checking of what sort from the health department. SO, pandai-pandai lah jaga diri. Hehehehe.
Yaka? hahahaha then no more perlu takut la go out… Biasa nya kalau nak out, kena pikir, if diaorang buat spot-check and me not home, how… so now… no need to be scared la… kekekeke :)

Heya, where did you go for checkup? I went to a clinic and according to the doctor there’s no way to check if I got h1n1 unless I go to some medical research centre :/
I’m not sure… but I went to the hospital… Sarawak General Hospital… They have special counter for H1N1… :)
