Perodua Alza: A Car or MPV?

I went on the launching of the Alza yesterday near to Satok. And as for me, the first time I heard the name of this car, I was kind of shocked, and wondering, why they name the car Alza? Is there no other name on earth which sounds good and creative for this kind of car? :P

Alza? Yeah, it looks like the combination of MyVi and Avanza. The in front site of view does has the MyVi look, while at the back of it, and at the rear site of it looks like Avanza. So, no more ideas to create a new car? :P

Anyway, to compare between MPV Proton Exora and Alza, Exora is much pricey, and a good car to be owned. Same goes with Alza, the price is quite cheaper than Exora, but it is good for a large family in a car. Car is a car, car is even a MPV. So, what is Alza being categorized for? Is it a MPV or a car?

I kind of confuse with the categorizing of Alza, as the advertisment even said that a car is also a MPV. So, does that mean Alza is a car, but MPV? Ermmm…I’m confused. :P

To get an Alza, it comes in few color, but then, I love it in black and even white. I’m not sure why, but yeah, it looks nice in white or black. It does looks solid to your eyes as Perodua is now trying to get rid of any gaps of Alza.

Alza has 7 seats, and a small luggage space compared to Exora. It would only have the big luggage space when the seats at the back were bended down. What’s inside? It’s very simple. Nothing much extra. it has the cup holders everywhere, and they are about 6 cup holders if I’m not mistaken. But that’s good especially for me, because I sometimes even eat in the car. :P

For a passenger like me, I like Alza too. What I like the most is the seat. The cushion is slightly comfortable, and it is good for a long way trip. No more back pain. So, according to what I heard, the price is 58K and above, and it comes in few colors (check it yourself), and deposit is only RM500. No matter how simple it is, Alza is good to be owned even though the name is quite terrible. :P
