Remember about few previous posts I made regarding my intake to Masterskill College? Yeah, I am not a Masterskill student even though I have paid for it. So, they contacted me few times and wants me to write them an apology letter regarding me post. They even are willing to pay me my deposit for that. But what would you think? Is it fair?
I know, I paid them a little, but they should know that, even a cent is a money. Besides, I considered them as fooling me around by their advertisement. They said, the nursing course will be opened on September 2009. That’s what makes me interested in Masterskill, as I would not want to leave Kuching. So, borrowed few sum from my parents and pay them. And now, they simply called and said, the nursing course will be opened next year. WTF! If I knew it will be opened so late, I would not spend my money there and waiting like an idiot. If I knew they will postponed my course, I maybe going to my current college earlier than this.
What else? Even though it’s their fault, they do not want to refund my money. I know in the receipt did say that I cannot do any refund, but this was not my fault. Why did they advertised about the September intake for nursing course? Are they trying to lie, and cheat people’s money by doing such things?
I know I might be rude here, but yeah. I am telling everyone about my dissatisfaction about this, especially regarding the fund. They want me to remove the post, but why? Are they worried that my post will affect their intake? Why must I remove? What am I saying is true! You fooled me with the advertisement, and cheated my money. If you’re not cheating, you would not do this as in you would refund my money without any terms and conditions are applied.
They would only pay me when I remove the post and write them the letter. And they even want me to contact them regarding this. F***! I am the victim but they want me to contact them? never mind. I will be keeping this post up until they pay me my refund and compensate for removing these few posts. Why compensations? I could say, my statistic says that, Masterskill is quite a good hit in my blog. This means that Masterskill posts are “laku” and from this, I earn money. So, in order for me to write them an apology letter and removing the posts, I want to refund and compensate for the posts. I don’t care. It’s a good hit in my blog, and I do not want my earning will be decrease by this.
As for this, I really think that Masterskill is making a lie. why? Like what is happening to me. I have already paid, but they postponed the course, and didn’t want to refund my money. You could even read few comments left to me in one of the posts. All I could say now is, I never thought that they are dare to do these kind of things. If they want to postpone any courses to anytime, they can, but at least, give back the money. I borrowed money from my mum, and she is pretty upset with what has Masterskill done to me. They should really give back the money. Because it was not my fault, I was fooled with their advertisement, and I paid for it. So, it’s their fault. I really hope that authorities read this and take some actions.*crossing-fingers*

Last time I signed up for a short holiday course in a local college here and later I’m told that the course would be postponed. They allowed me to refund the money even though it’s stated that the deposit was not refundable. They should practice this too. It’s their fault to delayed their course, it’s not that you are the one that didn’t want to attend. They should just refund the money without any T&C, if they need you to do something before refund the money, then they should pay you extra, the deposit and also the cost for you to remove the post. How stupid can they be? Just refund the money and case close but they want to make it this ugly, really stupid. They are supposed to minimize the negative but now they are making the negative even more negative.
They are too stupid for a small little thing. This post would not be made if they agreed to pay back my money. But instead of agreeing, they want me to remove the previous posts and write them a letter. WTF!

I’m trying to figure out why you owe them an apology. Because people can google “Masterskill” and get your negative feedback?
I know that Masterskill is in the midst of completing a new building. Maybe they expected it to be ready by the intake date. But common sense would say that if you can’t deliver what you promised, have a contingency plan.
Nobody should expect other people to uproot and move to another city at a moment’s notice, especially when they signed up because they don’t have to go anywhere in the first place. Nobody is going to put their life on hold just because you can’t deliver.
I think it would have been fair if they had refunded you the money. I’m sure the “no refund” policy is for events in which students themselves change their mind after booking a space. But these are extraordinary circumstances and some of the comments in your other post are quite worrying. Whether or not these people are willing to come forward is another matter. But some Malaysians have this bad habit of suffering quietly.
But hey, you have something they want (to take down the posts) and they have something you want (your deposit). I’d say it’s a fair trade. If anyone’s writing an apology letter, it’s them. If not, then the money back should be fine.
The weird thing is they don’t want to pay me until I remove the post and write them the apology letter. But for me, it was not my fault, so, it’s fair enough if they just pay me, I will edit the post. That’s all.
And they should at least take my post as something for them to change for their own good.
I know a lot of private colleges are using misleading ads to “fool” SPM/STPM leavers. Offering all kinds of benefits, but once signed up, they will give all kinds of excuses to say “NO, you don’t deserve this and that!”

Like everyone said, fight for your right and I’m proud you stood your ground. They shouldn’t even think that they’re able to bully people around. “We’ll pay you if you remove the post”, pfft, as a misled consumer you have the right to air your dissatisfaction! And what’s this about apology letter? They’re out of their mind. It is THEM that should be writing you an apology letter for misrepresentation! Very clear that Masterskill not only lack management skills (they should take up their own course in that, then!) but grossly lacks PR and Customer Service skills.
Hahahahaha they should learn more about this. Don’t simple ask me to remove this and that. Write this and that. I don’t give a damn about money. But they should really learn.
yeah.. u right.. m one of the victim in masterskill.. they promised tht they will give laptop to all new intake students on the spot after registration.. but they din.. they told they just giv the laptop after 3 sem for who get gud results (CGPA)!! this is F**K statement tht they given to us after registration..
Hahahaha I actually asked them about it. They said they will only give the laptop during the 3rd sem with a condition where you get CGPA above 3.0 :)
if u all got friends or anyone u know that want to enter that college just stop them… u know that college is making a lot of money from the student… ok so let talk about something here. I don’t think that college really cares enough about student’s quality. It’s simple, if female students get pregnant they won’t be terminate, just pay RM500 and then after delivery they can still continue the study. Same applied to other offences. Hahaha, so even a criminal with 3 credits can enroll to that college… well recently a student sues that college rm5mil…for poor security, causing a female student raped. After that that college want to reallocate all student staying in Bukit Segar To other place (dun know what place is that), for some reason (maybe about security and safety of the student). Pity those student last, they r studying for their LJM this end of june, but got to change place, funny. Beside that I heard one of my friend said that their revision week for that exam…in mock ward… just sitting and discuss nursing topics. For 3 Hour? In a mock ward. I can imagine they sit on the floor and chit-chat with their friends… why? Probably that college doesn’t have classes for the student who will undergo LJM next month. O ya about the management, hmmm plz la sending a group of semester 5 to clinical just after 2 weeks of theory class hahaha, they said they wanted to expose the students to the clinical area…excuse me, they will have their clinical after they completed their theory for that Sem, but why sending them so early….hahaha becoz that college is too full, so when the accreditation personal come to college it will look like a normal college, so they don’t have to write a report saying that “masterskill is overcrowded, and studies r not conducive”. Hahahahha ok let us talk about another thing, do u know that some of clinical instructor (a teacher to their nursing student in a hospital) of masterskill doesn’ own Annual Practice Cert (APC, a certificate that stating a person is qualified to be clinical instructor, to teach student, or to practice in their medical field), minimum 3 years hand on clinical experiences, if they want to be a clinical instructor in case posting take place in government hospital, but hey almost all posting is in government hospital and clinic. (ask all the newly qualified masterskill brand, wether they got APC AND 3 YEARS WORKING EXPERINECE OR NOT… well is not like the person come from other college, yeah…they r from masterskill hahaha. Actually how long the APC need to be process before they can have it…. Well one clinical instructor I know work more than 1 year as a masterskill clinical instructor, but still don’t have APC.hahaha booooooooooo bbbbooooooo masterskill. I am very lucky to not study at that colleg…so crap…booooo boooooo.. even some lecturer of them only work 1-2 years as a nurse then suddenly work for masterskill. Ewww Even a friend of mine working in A hospital said that her Matron (penyelia jururawat U42), chase away 1 Clinical instructor from her hospital…becoz that clinical instructor who is also a masterskill branded one, one got 1year of experience. Hahahahahah. There more thing to talk, it’s juat I don’t have time to talk about this college…hehehhe will be continue ok..

LOL I think you have kind a little grudge with this college. I’m not sure about the pregnant thingy, but if what you say Is true, and it’s a OMG from me. That sucks?? Well, before I continue my life in Masterskill, I was already being cheated, and Im wondering what happens if I continue studying there. OMG!!
