Kuching: What Are The Differences With Others?

I am not promoting Kuching by the way, but in a way, I am promoting. LOL I am exactly want to post about few places I like in Kuching. I am in Kuching, so why not? It’s a good thing to promote own place actually even though I missed places like Muara and Serasa (just because of the beaches). If you are following me in my Twitter, you will surely realized that I Tweet-ed about how I misses Muara and Serasa, and how I felt so jealous with my cousin which is now in Brunei for a holiday while I am still here in Kuching even though it’s holiday. But I don’t take it too hard as I knew it myself for the time being I need to save budget to get what I want so much. So, say bye-bye to vacations on holidays until I get what I want.

What is so good about Kuching until I want to post it up? For me every places on earth is still a place, no matter how developed is the place, no matter how beautiful is the place. So do with Kuching. I kind of dislike it when a Kuchinginite talks much about somewhere other place. Saying that this place is much better la, much beautiful la. Come on guys, every place has its own uniqueness, so don’t do judgement about it la.

I have been to Jakarta few years back, and I have been to few places out and in of Malaysia, but I still prefer Kuching, and I think I rarely seen myself judging the development of Kuching. I don’t see myself criticizing Kuching and complimenting other places. As what I said, every places controls by different people with different mind. So, that’s it. That’s what makes every places different in every ways. Kuching may be slow in developing because of the “up people” wants and has its own strategies to develop Kuching unlike other places.

I could say, suitable places to date someone is mostly in restaurant. Or you can make it in other places such as DBKU Park, Friendship Garden, beaches and so. talking about restaurants, there are few restaurants that I think suitable for dating or private moments. I personally love this kind of restaurant, and these restaurants are such as Jambu Lounge & Restaurant, Magenta, Havana, The Living Room and so. This makes Kuching a place which is not outdated with this kind of thing.

You want to go bar, club, pub and so? Kuching has it too. We have Silhouette, SENSO, Grappa, Soho, Barzing and so. Even though the crowd is much different with other places, but it still going on. It sill makes Kuching hype in a way.

What else that could attracts people to Kuching? The beaches. I know that Kuching has not much beautiful beaches. Even some are out of Kuching, as Kuching is a town. I love going to Pantai Puteri beach, Pasir Pandak beach and Permai beach. There are lots more of beaches around Kuching area such as Rambongan and Bako. Lots of things to see and lots of things to experience on those beaches. So, what’s so good about other place or other beaches when you have beaches here in Kuching, while during sunset, these beaches also have the picturesque scenery?

I have been wanting to go to Bako National Park, but it’s not worth it to go alone. And now, I only managed to do what I like on beaches in Kuching and some family park in Kuching area. I found a book about this place, and I was triggered to go there, but not now. I need to maybe wait for my cousins to come over and join my trip. Besides, Bako is much better to go in May-October, as the sea would not be so rough when you’re having a trip using a boat.

So, for me, even though I have been to few places outside and inside Malaysia, I still think that I love Kuching over what people says about Kuching. The sad thing will be when a Kuchinginite itself criticizing Kuching over other places. And this type of Kuchinginite should realized where he/she is stepping right on.
