Perception is Deceiving

My farewell dinner went smooth yesterday night. Cyril sponsored everything and I guess I was bloated. Thanks to him!

By the way, I’m not in the mood since I received the letter about me posting to Selangor next year. So not in the mood. When I thought everything is settled, comes another things that needs me to rushing here and there to settle it.

Maybank? My offer letter didn’t say that I need to open a new Maybank savings account. So, I went to Maybank and wanted to open a new account, but unfortunately, my IC chip is spoils. Damn! I cannot do it now since my IC could not be used. Called KKM, and they said that I could make it done when I am there later. Inclusive the IC. SHIT!

I wonder, how am I going to travel from Sungai Buloh to JPN and then to Maybank when I received my new IC later. This thing really ruins up my day. It makes me cried and mad to everyone around me. Hate you!!!!

So guys. Take care of your IC. Make sure the chip is not spoils so that you wouldn’t face the same trouble as mine. Shit! Gonna make a new IC later, then open a new Maybank account. SIGH

    Hi Amiey..

I’ve got the same problem when I try to open the Maybank account. I just arrived from Kuching Airport that same day and it worked on the KIA readers but then I have no idea why Maybank’s pocket chip reader don’t work. Very very frustrating. I gave up coz I am not in Kuching long enough to get a new IC.

Firstly I do not understand why they cannot bypass this as if I’m an illegal immigrant or my IC is fake to them. Just a verification process. Some more I had an account with them before.

Secondly, the lady attended me wasn’t helpful at all. I gave up hope on Maybank.

Since you’re in Kuching now and you still got sometime, I would suggest you do it in Kuching. Much more convinnient. Else you’ll have to travel by taxi in KL and then to collect it again and the KL office always alot of people.. need to go early.. blah blah blah..

I guess I am in the same frustration as you… Until now I am still holding on to the ‘broken chip’ IC..

    Pat

Huhuhu same here… Until today, I haven’t opened up my Maybank yet. And still holding my ‘broken chip’ IC. For me, they don’t need to scan, but atleast ask for my IC number, and look for it through the systems if they really need the Ic. It troublesomes especially for us students who needs the account immediately. This is what we called another lacks in Malaysian systems.

girl, you can go to JPN Shah Alam instead of in Putrajaya. it’s nearer to Sg. Buloh. I wouldnt mind helping you if I was there. My house in KL is 10 minutes from yr Kolej..

and oh, I’ve lost my IC in Maybank bank last year(hahahaa…how irony..).. forked out RM110 for that stupid mistake.. and the staff there selamber cakap, “tak sayang duit ke? kalau hilang kali kedua bayar RM200, hilang 10 kali, dah kene denda RM1000…”
    giler tak sayang mulut..

Haiyo. People here really tak sayang mulut.huhuhuhu Thanks sis, but nevermind la. I free on weekends so, the PJ one opens on weekends. The only choice I have. :)
