Perception is Deceiving

Egg Day & Nursing Week 2010

Chinese New Year will be coming soon in February, and I have been thinking of going back to Kuching for my 5 days holiday since I got nothing to do here. But the tickets are too pricey, since it’s too late for me to buy the tickets now. I badly want to go back to Kuching. I miss Kuching, and my dad will be operated on Hernia minor operation on the 9th.

I really want to go back to Kuching, but my dad says, the 5 days of holiday is just a waste of money to go back here. He asked me to go back to Kuching only when I got holiday more than a week. So, I guess, I will only back to Kuching during my semester breaks which will be at the end of May.

My life has been going fine, I can cop a bit with mys studies with the help from all the notes and books given when I was in SEGi college. Activities here sometimes are craps, but we got nothing else to do and choose. So, we had to join even though we don’t really want to join.

Last night was the closing of our Egg Day. Which means that, we will get a “adopted” brother or sister from this activity. The activity was done quite well, and I honestly enjoyed it. I got my favourite color of egg, which was purple. After you got the egg, you must try to find the owner of the egg by asking all the seniors. Since that I love shaking eggs, I brought the egg around the netball court without trying to ask the seniors who owns it. But while I was shaking the egg, someone came to me, and told me “hey, you’re my adik telor”… And I said “eyh, are you sure?”…hahahah I was lucky to have an adopted egg sister who found me. She is sweet and nice. She told me everything regarding the studies, practicals and exams. She asked me to study hard during my second semester. :)

Tomorrow, I will be involved in Nursing Week which starts tomorrow night and ends next weekend. I heard that other colleges will also come to our college to join us with the Nursing week. Yayy! Will surely meet my friends agains. :) On Nursing week, I will be involving in sports such as Netball and badminton. While for academics, I will be the one who is involves in Spell-It-Right. We were also being asked  to create a booth to sell fruits, drinks and foods. And the modal will come from ourselves even though it’s organize by some people high in position. :(

I guess, my blog begins to be very boring when I starts to blog about my college life. Sorry guys! :(

I don’t see the benefit of Egg Day. But then again, a lot of activities organised do not fit to make the college in the status of an institution of higher learning.

Wait, maybe that’s why most people do not feel that these type of colleges are IPT. Its due to the activities.

    Yeah, I think so :P
