My Kuching Trip: Sarawak Laksa & Launching Of The Star

I woke up in the morning intentionally early to have my breakfast with Fahriee and Norman at Golden Arch. Why? Trying out Sarawak Laksa after three months. OMG!! I can’t imagine the happiness in me when Cyril agreed to have Sarawak Laksa at Golden Arch. He even said that, he went to lots of Sarawak Laksa stalls and shops, but no ones could beat Sarawak Laksa made at Golden Arch.

I agreed with him. The first place to taste Sarawak Laksa will be Golden Arch. A place that should be repaired and modified since the building is useful for people like us. When you go to Golden Arch, you will see lots of people coming to taste out everything that offers by the stalls there. To park the car is much more troublesome too. So, I think, the should at least renovate and change the place to something a like restaurant looked building or repair it to something better than now.

Done with Laksa, we then went to The Spring to check out what events were going on. Cyril and me went to FOS since I need to shop for clothes, and finally, I bought nothing, but instead, Cyril brought back two beach pants from FOS. Norman and Fahriee then joined us and we were then headed back to the atrium where The Star’s crews were making the preparations for the launching. I finally got the chance to take few photos with The Spring’s celebrity which is Fahriee with his poster as our background.

We then continued our outing at Big Apple Doughnuts. Sitting there without my lappie made me bored. Norman and Fahriee then left us and headed to the atrium where The Star will be launched. I couldn’t join to cover the event for few important reasons. But I think, it was a huge missed I shouldn’t do next time. Some even brought back a good gifts from the event. Hafiz Af and Tuku Kame were also there… SIGH

You know what The Star is? Ala, the newspaper. They are being launched in Kuching since they want the Kuching version of The Star news. We got free news paper the day we went there from the crews. And it has not much difference with the Star we used to read before. Anyways, I still prefer to read news online. Cheaper and easiest!!! =P
