This is my first time using broadband. I have been using house line for internet like years. So, last few weeks, before I went back to Kuching, I decided to get myself a broadband. Which is a Maxis 3G broadband.
I chose Maxis since everyone here told me that the best broadband I should have here is Maxis. Some of my friends are using Celcom. Digi? I’m not sure though. But the Celcom broadband users often complains that the broadband service is not that good. The internet is quite slow, and it often disconnects without any notices. While surfing, you will need to connect it few times.
So, I bought myself a Maxis broadband instead of Digi or Celcom. I was asked to pay RM100 but they said for the first 1G will be free. I will only need to pay later for the next top-up I made. IG lasted not that long. I used it for three days and finished. I top-up my broadband for another 1G and it costs me for about RM28. Thank god that the top-up should be paid by the end of the month.
The miracle thing is that, the first free 1G given by them lasted for few days. But when I bought my 1G, it lasts until now. And I’m not sure whether they were really gave me the 1G or they just gave a little. It’s weird.
After all, I am so much satisfied with the broadband I have now. It is fast, and reliable. Only sometimes when it rains, the connection becomes slow. But overall, Maxis 3G broadband is good. Will never want to change my broadband to others. I’m quite satisfied with the connection of my Maxis 3G broadband. :)

Yes.. me and my wife use celcom 3g. the network not so broad as they claim.. couldnt get hsdpa connection to last 10minutes however we are using for surfing lightly only. should have change to Maxis 3G 1gb capped i think. cheaper considering even using celcome we only utilise 500Mb of bandwith max.
You should think twice. Because now, I’m having lots of problems with Maxis Broadband connection. It’s too slow. :(
