I think, it was Sunday when we managed to get our tickets to Penang. Called Transnational, and they said, they sale tickets even at KL Sentral. urghh!!!
Sunday, we went to Great Estern Mall to see Nordin Abdullah and Anne Velu. They were fantastically awesome like before. We even met Sumayah, which is Nordin’s wife who is now pregnant. When we were about to leave, Geofrey came by and we managed to catch up few things with him. He is awesome guys!!! He speaks BM and he even teased his mother up using his fluent in BM. Urghhhh!!!
Then, we went to KL Sentral and bought our tickets to Penang. It cost nearly RM40 one way per person. All of us agreed to have the trip started at 1030am.
On Monday morning, we woke up really early with the bags were already packed up for the Penang trip. We headed to Bukit Jalil Station using taxi, and sat in the bus for few minutes. The bus moved at 1030 but not to Penang. The bus brought us to Hentian Duta and we transited there for few minutes, before leaving in other bus to Penang.
On my way to Penang, I spent it by sleeping in the bus. We stopped by at a place for half hour rest. The gang and I went to the cafeteria and ate a little before continuing the trip. I love the guava sales there. It’s big and fresh!!!!! :P
In the bus, I fell of to sleep again when I had a sudden woke up to drink. Soon after this, we were already at the Penang Bridge. Wow! It was awesome babe! The bridge makes me want to jump and swim in it.
The first thing we did when we reached Penang was, looking for our hotel. We finally decided to stay at Oriental Hotel located at Penang Street which is at the town! Reached the room, we were so tired and we didn’t even go out for the day.
The next day was fun, we went around Penang. We visited all historical spot near to us. It was hot, and I regret using the shirt I wore the day. My skin turns darker. Urghh! Done with visiting, we went back to the room, where I managed to stop by at a shop to buy a kilo of preservatives mango. It’s hard to find those things in Kuching. I bought it and ate it in the room. When the night came by, we ate Nasi Kandar which was freaking huge in amount. It costs RM7. There were so many and I couldn’t finish it all. Oh yeah, we went to Komtar Mall to. The tallest tower in Penang!!! =P
The next day, which was the last day, we went to few shops and managed to eat Penang Laksa at the Vegetarian Restaurant. I didn’t eat that because I ate Char Kuey Tiaw. LOL
So, our Penang trip was great, even if you read this, it sounds not that great. But I experienced it, and for me it was awesome!!! I’ll be going back to Penang later. Not sure when, but one thing for sure, I’ll be back! :)
