Less than a month, I don’t see any promotions regarding RWMF 2010 being promoted on TV or even banners/posters on the roadside. It’s not like last year, where I watched the advertisement on TV always! and even on the roadside. But unlike this year, seems like the promotion is less than before. This year RWMF takes place on the 9th-11th July 2010. You can even attend the after party thingy :P
I thought this year will be merrier since we have no worries toward H1N1 like last year. Even the tickets on sale were out quite late. I just knew that the tickets were already on sale two days back. And the three days pass has been sold out.
The event is the biggest party in Sarawak and it collects all the foreigners to come to Sarawak. Not only the foreigners, but even the local. But how they’re going to attract those people when they’re no promotions. And I don’t even hear anything regarding the RWMF preview.
I may be going this year for a day or two. And the daily ticket costs RM110 per person. So, if you’re going, and bump into me, please say hyeeee…=P

Want to know why the promotion is not as much as last year? The reason being , H1N1 happened, and the organizers were afraid that the turnouts won’t be as expected.
But this year, like what you mentioned here. the tickets were all sold out, the three-day pass has been sold out. Therefore, there’s no need for the promotion no more. :)
However, even though you don’t see promotions being aired on Malaysian TV, other country sure got one.. else how come there’s a lot of Westerners coming for this party? ehee…
Wish I could come though.. But I can’t afford the ticket just yet. I’ve two places for weddings, two honeymoons to go.. At this moment,every penny is important, and it counts..

Thanks!! Yeah, thats what my dad told me. The promotion is more for foreigners, and you hardly see it here in our places. But in other countries, surely there is a lot of promotions for it! :)
