Ever since I knew about this world event, I started to wonder, when can I watch it real, using my eyes. Last year, I waited until 2am with Cyril, just to watch this meteor shower, it didn’t happened. A star was even not in the sky. All I seen was, the cloudy night atmosphere with no lights of stars at all.
Last night, the same thing happened again, but I didn’t want at all. I saw the sky was a little dark, with no stars at all, so I decided to doze off. Woke up very early, reached the head out of the window to see the sky, but nothing. Stars were seen, but it wasn’t that clear, so I decided to skip this year’s meteor shower like last year.
What’s with meteor shower? For some people, it’s nothing, but for me, it’s unique and wonderful phenomenon in the universe. I watched few videos in Youtube, but I still want to watch it on my own. I just don’t feel like it’s truly happening in the video.
I want to watch it with my naked eyes. So that I can truly believe it’s happening. Watching video makes me feel like thinking, is it true? Is it really happen? I really want to watch it.
Some people say, only some countries had the chance to watch meteor shower, and Malaysia are not included. People in UK, California watch it every year, and even recorded it. I wish it happens in Malaysia. I badly want to see the wonderful phenomenon in the universe.
Anyone who has more information regarding meteor shower that has already happened, let me know. Give me the links (if it’s a video) so that I can watch it and admire the phenomenon all life long. In hoping that I could watch it on my own in the future. :)

Its unfortunate 4 u. I am lucky to view 2 meteor shower one was in 18 November, 2009 (Leonid meteor Shower) and another was in 12 August, 2010 (Perseid Meteor Shower)because the weather in my place, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor was clear at that time. There will be another Leonid meteor shower coming this 18 November, 2010.
OMG!! I’m so jealous!!!!!!!

Hi, I presume you were trying to watch in Klang Valley. If so, bad move. Klang Valley is a light polluted city and most of the time cloudy, so no point watching. If you are interested, there are 2 local astronomy group I know of who organize meteor shower observation, the upcoming one is in Dec. Last year same time I watched in Kajang, amazing, saw close to 100 in that night (if I did not go to sleep early then probably more). Email me, of find me in Facebook – Wayne Ng
Wow!!! thanks for the info :)
