My Kuching Trip: The Amazing Race Asia

The title macam I’m not a Sarawakian who went melancong to Kuching. LOL As everyone knows, I went to Kuching, during my mid-sem holiday. I did mentioned to you guys what am I going to do when I’m in Kuching in my previous post. So, I guess, few of it were fulfilled, but some aren’t.

My first day in Kuching started with an event that happened in Kuching. The Amazing Race Asia at The Spring Mall. I knew about this few days before I reached Kuching, and asked Cyril whether he wants to join or not. Because I wanted to join, but we both the agreed that, we shouldn’t join. It needs lots of sacrifices to the things we’re doing now. As in for works and studies. We checked the place, and saw quite a number of people. But nahh. I think they could make it merrier by promoting it in a better and wider way.

They even opened up the Mini TARA for publics who wanted to join. Cyril asked me to join, but I wasn’t that well, since I had stomach upset and headache. I headed to Starbucks, and waited for Fahriee and Cyril to join me. Spring is like a place where everyone meets. I saw and met few people. People I knew when I was in primary and secondary schools. Even when I was in colleges. See, I met the teachers, lecturers. It makes me think that The Spring is a place for everyone to meet up. Even for us, Fahriee,Cyril, Norman and me, sometimes will chose The Spring as our meeting point.

Morning before we went to check out the TARA, Cyril and me went to eat hotplate, but unlucky to both of us, the booth had no chicken to cook it with my hotplate. So we changed and eat nasi campur instead. While ordering, we both saw Mike and his partner in crime, Samuel who was getting ready to the TARA audition. They even brought and showed to us the Sago worms they were going to eat for the audition. Yuks! But good luck to both of them. Let us know if you guys win. LOL

Back to my Starbucks, The Spring things. So, we met up again in Starbucks. I ordered my so-called Mocha Praline and it’s yummyyyy!!!! I love it so much! Tried to behave like Norman, he does his studies in Starbucks, and I thought I could make the same thing. But what happened? I tend to see people surrounding me rather than reading my procedures book. SIGH

While eating, they’re few people who involves in TARA came and sat much nearer to us. As for Fahriee being as usual, he wrote up something on Cyril’s magnetic writing pad (he got it when he answered a quiz from the mini TARA). At first, I let Cyril and Fahriee being naughty for themselves over the persons who were next to us. But then I realized what was written at the pad, and I laughed to join them. Fahriee was cute! and he is always cute! They’re both naughty, even in front of me. I wonder what happens if I’m not around. LOL

They took photos with the Chongs sisters as their background. I wanted to ask Fahriee to bring the pad next to them, and see their reactions. Mention to them that Fahriee is mute. And want to know more about them, but then I think, it’s not worth it. But the photo taken by Cyril was so cute and it makes me laugh whenever I see it.

Mike and his partner in crime then joined us, together with his Sago WORMS. YUKS!!! And they shared to us about the TARA things, and I really hope that they could join the real TARA soon. And I hope they could make it to win TARA. My first activity during my first day in Kuching ended at Starbucks. Allan Wu then joined the Chongs sisters. He has a very tough body, and ermmm.NICEEE!! LOL For those who doesn’t know wo is Allan Wu.. Google it yourself!!! I wasn’t that well to join the mini TARA, and needs to go home and rest. After all, my to do list for lepak-ing with my foodies gang were fulfilled.

Kuching: To Do List

I know, I left Kuching just three months ago, but I honestly say that I miss Kuching. Especially the food. I just can’t stop thinking of the food, and can’t wait to be in Kuching. I will be leaving Selangor in few more hours, and I just can’t stop smiling thinking about it.

I just can’t stop thinking of to meet up with my dearest gang, and foodies gang. I’ve been planning to meet them up everyday and eat Sarawak Laksa with them. Going to Starbucks with them. Watch movies with them. And everything that we love to do together before.

Yeah, the first I really want to do is, eating Sarawak laksa. I know, there are lots of shops who sells laksa, but I still in love with iCafe Sarawak laksa and Golden Arch. So, it’s a must to visit these two shops for Sarawak laksa.

The second thing to do will be, meeting up friends. Lepak-ing with them at Starbucks and hanging out with them around Kuching together. A simple outing, or make it a movies marathon outing. Either that, or any other activities we could enjoy doing it together.

The next thing I must do in Kuching later will be, sending me laptop to HP center. Yeah, my keyboard is having problem with the J button. It’s not like any other button, it’s hard and it’s not as sensitive as before. So, I need to send it before it gets worst. =(

Other thing I would love to do in Kuching later will be, send my sim card for check up. It creates trouble to me lately. Sometimes, my phone is not functioning due to the sim that can’t detects the network. I need to erase the sim chip gently before I can use it.

After all, I just need to meet up with my friends. And also my family especially my dear nieces and nephews. I miss. I can’t wait to fly to Kuching. I can’t to fulfill my to do list in Kuching soon. Even now, I can’t cocentrate much on my studies. My body is here, but mind and spirits are in Kuching. I miss everyone and everything! =)

I miss them so much. And I can’t wait to reach Kuching in few more hours. I can’t wait to be in Kuching. Why am I will be leaving Kuching? Actually, tomorrow starts our midsem hoilday until the 10th. So, I take this chance to go back to Kuching to collect all the loves to supply me after semester breaks for the next three months before I can go back to Kuching again.

You, Love Affair!

The title sounds weird, but I actually want to share a little things I know from what I see in my surroundings about love and affair. This is not related to anyone, especially me. No ones involve! =)

How actually to detect your partner when he is having an affair behind your back? I thing, I know something. From what I see, as what my friend does, so I want to share it here. Sometimes, this happens not only to couples whom is far apart, but it happens to couples who lives near to each other.

They are some ways to detect how actually your partner is doing some affairs behind you. For example, the way your partner called you. Before, he always called you “baby” and never ever called you with other names. But one day, he suddenly called you “sayang” and you were shocked. The first sign. This thing easily can be detected to couple who rarely called their partners with other names and stick to only one name.

Second thing will be, the way your partner talks to you. Before, whenever you called him, he answered and talked to you nicely even he was busy, but he turns to another person, or having an affair, he will start to use harsh words and talks to you badly, in a rough way. He sometimes ignores your calls, and texts. And he will be more to outdoor things compared to treat you, especially when you’re far.

The third thing to detect when your partner is having an affair behind you is, he starts to switch off the phone, and saying that the phone is damaged. In other side of it, he is actually changing his number to another number, or maybe, he is going out with the person he is having the affair, and doesn’t want to be disturbed by you, his girlfriend!

Other thing will be, when he starts to go and watch movie alone. And he is actually not alone. Yeah! He might be saying that he is bored, and wants to go and watch movie in the evening, and he will be alone, but instead of being alone, he will be watching it with his affair, and doesn’t want to be contacted by you. And the reason he will use is, he doesn’t want to be disturbed while enjoying the movies, and doesn’t want to disturb others with the phone’s light.

Erm, I thing, I will end it here. I have no other ideas.LOL All these are what I’ve seen happened to people surrounding me. =)

Sony Ericsson Hand Phones

For your informations, I have three phones with me right now. The Sony Ericsson hand phones. They’re SE T250i, SE W580i and SE K770i. All of them now are having problems.

Let me just tell you all what happened to the phones now. The T250i has no button to press on menu. Why? I don’t know what happened. When I saw it, the button was no more there. I looked around and found nothing. I went to the shop in order to repair it. But they said, I better buy a new handphone instead of wasting the money to repair the keypad. As the keypad is much more pricey. So, the hand phone is then being left at home without being used.

Another phone is W580i. Remember the phone that was given to me by Cyril few months before my birthday? Yeah, that phone. Not comes to a year, the phone has damaged and need to be repaired fully. Why? Because of the keypads also. If you want to know, the # button can’t be press anymore, it looses. And not functioning. Not only the # button, but also other buttons such as 1 till 7 buttons. Meaning, I can’t really text when I am using that SE W580i. It’s terrible. =(

Another phone actually belongs to Cyril, but he gave it to me since he owns another hand phone. The phone is SE K770i. And the phone also have problems with the keypad, where, the 2, 5 and 0 button can’t be pressed. When to the shop and repaired it. Cost for about rm70. And nothing better occurred. The phone still having problems until now. Sometimes, whenever I received messages, it will turn blank and the screen turns white. When this first happened to me, the phone even hardly to be switched on. There were already few times where I had problems in a matter that I have no phones for few days.

My next phone to be will be SE SATIO or SE G900. I love the phone. It’s light and the function is awesome. I’ve tried my friend’s G900, and I love it! My allowance will be used to buy this phone. It’s a must! iPhone?? WAIT!! LOL =)

Exam For Nurses

OMG! I have not been updating any in my blog for a while. I guess some of you know it why? I was having an exam week. And it ended today. I’m feeling so much relief!! Even when I was about to finish SPM, I never felt this kind of feelings. I wonder why. Maybe I struggled so much for this exam, I slept late, and rarely took dinner sometimes.

I kept on doing the revisions till I gone mad. Thank God I managed to do well in exams. Not sure of the marks yet, but I’m quite confident I’ll be just fine. Nothing will go wrong, unless the lecturer hates me. =)

Next week, I’ll be back to Kuching. Yayy!! I can’t wait to have the great taste of Laksa Sarawak. I can’t wait to eat Umai made by my mummy. And I can’t wait to see my nieces and nephew. And also can’t wait to kiss my cute little cats. OMG!! Can’t wait!!!!

Whats with next week? Hello. Next week I will be having a mid semester break until 10th. So, I have decided to go back to Kuching to meet everyone, and to eat anything. A week after that, I will be having an exam again. A tough one. Together with my OSCHE test. Meaning, going back to Kuching, I won’t rest, but I need to study all the procedures. Because on 29th March, I will be in hospital. Yep, will start my clinical attachment out so soon. Just can’t wait for everything….

And by the way, my injured knee is now doing fine. Just that I can’t move and jump. I can hardly make my leg straight. So guys, don’t bring me out for sports and anything that will make my knee injured again. I need to rest my leg for three months. After that, I will be jumping again as usual. Yayy!! =)

Medical Check Up

This is not a routine medical check up I used to have when I knew I have a painful problem on my back bone. This medical check up is needed when ones is going to somewhere. And as for me, getting in this college really caused me lots of troubles. At first, the letters came late. I came here without this and that. Without my medical check up result. Without Maybank account, and so on. I have to do it on my own here where everything I do all alone.

in fact, money easily flies. Yeah, doing my check up cost Rm300, taking the cab to the clinic cost RM20. Doing my Maybank cost me RM50 (standard la).. Taking the cab again, cost RM20. See, I wonder, this wouldn’t happened if they send us the letter earlier. I could make my medical check up and Maybank when I was in Kuching. A friend of mine told me, she made her medical check up including X-ray for only RM150 in Timberland, Kuching. See, how troublesome that is.

Now, we cannot claim the money back. Which is for me, unfair. The nearest government hospital couldn’t do the medical check up for us, because it’s too many. I think they’re too lazy to do it. So, we have to do it at private clinics or hospitals. And yeah, money flew.. And now, I wish I could claim the money, but they said. “jangan mimpilah….” SIGH

Even going to such places like clinics or banks to settle the things, they don’t provide us with any transportation which I think they should start implementing it. Why? All the trainees are going to such places because they want us to settle the things. They should at least prepare transport for us so that the money can be kept a bit from paying the cabs. Dah la cannot claim… Haiya… I wonder how they actually think about this.

It’s unfair. People comes from Peninsular got no money wasted for medical check up and cabs. They went back to their hometown, and made their medical check up at the government hospitals with the parents providing them the transportations. But for us? Dahla the government hospital next to us doesn’t want to do the medical check up. And yet, the cabs some more. SIGH

SIGHS I have settled all my things. Done with my IC, medical check up and Maybank. Hopefully my allowance will be banked in next month. I really need money now!!!!!!

Golden Screen Cinemas @ Mid Valley : The WolfMan

Yesterday I went to Mid Valley with my dearest Uncles. They called me in the middle of the night, and asked me whether I’m free on the next day or not. I said no as I need to go to Maybank and settle few things. So, they decided to join me and request me to join them watch movie at GSC, Mid Valley.

After all done, I mean my Maybank and so, we went to Mid Valley using komuter which was so packed. I hate it! If anyone of you wants to bring me around, please, no komuter!!!! Reached Mid Valley, the place was… hurmm! I hate it too. Why? too crowded for me. Even my uncles brought me shopping, I wasn’t in the mood, because the place was really crowded with people. And I don’t stand it to be in the crowds.

We stepped in few shops just to see the things as my uncles were really choosy in buying things. So, he managed to keep his money in the pocket without spending any on shoppings. When it was time to buy the tickets for movie, we were asked to queue in a VERYYYY LONGGGG queue I’ve ever made. It was a double circle queue. OMG!!! We stood there until out turn to buy the tickets. Reached the counter, the tickets for first movie my uncles wanted to watch was already sold out. He made up decision to watch The WolfMan at last.

Okay, I used to go to GSC Mid Valley few times before, because I prefer to go and watch movie at KLCC. I last visited GSC Mid Valley two years ago perhaps. So, it’s been so different about the place. I’m not sure why, or maybe MBO The Spring is a new place, I prefer MBO The Spring rather than GSC Mid Valley. For me, MBO The Spring is much conducive and comfortable. The seat is enough for me to put my legs on. But in GSC, I have to seat as usual, and I kind of hate it to enjoy movie by seating like that. And that, I love MBO more. Teehee~~~

By the way, The Wolfman is a movie you shouldn’t watch if Avatar is still out there. Why? The movie is plain and typical werewolf movie. The ending was bad, and the story has nothing more than what you expected. Yeah, the movie made me bored and sleepy. I felt like I want to go out of the hall and find food. The movie has nothing so interesting. The title might attracts you, but the story if bad.

Quitting My Studies

I know this is a crazy post, but I guess, I would be really quitting my studies here soon. I don’t think I could cope with my life here. It’s troublesome. Even during my holidays. Especially regarding my roommate. I can’t stand the pain I face everyday because of her.

She makes me stress, and burden me indirectly. I can’t stand to smell the smelly socks she has whenever she comes to the room after class. I can’t make it to adapt to her behavior when she listens to song loudly using her phone when I’m still doing my revision or works and assignments. One thing again, she loves to eat, I can’t stand to face it whenever she lies to her mom asking money because she has no money to buy food as the food here is quite expensive. It’s not the matter of food that expensive, but she eats a lot. For me, I only spend RM5 per day only for food. Unlike her, and that’s why her money easily finish.

What else makes me want to quit my studies? I don’t know. I find myself lost in anger, sadness here. I rarely in a happy mood. For the past few days, I’ve been crying my heart out for the tense I’m facing right now. I want to go home, and I can’t stand to be here. The studies are not for me, far from what I expected especially regarding the language used.

Apart from that, I found myself in a lot of trouble when sometimes, the feeling of missing everyone comes up. I couldn’t control the anger, the sadness when this feeling comes to me. People might say, I haven’t adapted myself there yet. It’s not as easy as ABC to adapt myself here. When I’m sad, no one is here with me to support and motivates me unlike when I was in Kuching. It’s totally different.

That’s why, when I’m mad, I totally gone mad. Why? Because I feel that, I’m all alone here. All the burdens I have here are bear only by me. Even though I told some people my problems, it wouldn’t help that much, as I’m facing the problems, and people are just listens. I can’t think of any other ways to settle things here and anywhere. I think it’s time for me to pack my things and go back to my hometown. Before it’s too late, I need to act. I will make it as my own decision without telling my parents about this. =(

Celebrating Valentine’s With Tears

In few more hours, Valentine’s and Chinese New Year will be coming up. Year of the Tiger will show up. I am now listening to firecrackers play by the people surrounds my area. I am feeling sad. Others especially from Peninsular has gone back to their hometowns. And all Borneon sticks in their room waiting for the holiday goes by.

Sometimes, I do feel that the allowence given by the KKM is unfair. Why? For us Borneo, it’s unfair. Peninsularians shocked when I told them that our tickets to go back to Kuching is a month allowance. And sometimes, it becomes more than a month allowance. It’s really unfair for us. Peninsularians can easily go back, but us? They even said, the one month allowance can support them to go back to their hometowns 7 times. See, how unfair is it?

When it comes to semester breaks, where everyone must leave the hostel. Us Sarawakians, will need to pay at least RM600 just for the tickets. KKM should at least give out free tickets for us. Or pay half for our tickets. This is so unfair.

I don’t want to complaint much about this since tomorrow is a big for most of us. Regardless the religions and races. I’m still crying. I miss Kuching. And watching everyone leaving the hostel made me sad.

After all, Cyril sent me three cute lil friends I called Fahriee, Andre and Cyril himself. They’re cute chicken, penguin and rabbit. Norman is not in since he gave me a cute lil bear during my departure to Selangor, and I called the bear Norm. Cute Norm! Cyril said, he sent me these four to “jaga” me, and I’m wondering how. LOL

Anyway, Happy Valentine’s Day for once again to all of you. Happy Chinese New Year too.

Happy Chinese New Year & Holiday!!!

First of all, I would like to wish everyone out there, Happy Chinese New Year, even though it will be coming in few more days. I would be back to Kuching and will only be back during my Semester breaks.

My holiday for Chinese New Year starts this 13 until 17th February which is 5 days studies free days. I will be going to Malacca this time with my adopted-sister. Will have a day trip with them. The trip will start in the morning and will be back to Sungai Buloh during the night.

I think most of my days later will be spent on studies. Exam’s coming out so soon, and clinical attachment will also be coming soon. Practicals in practical room has been done since the first day I started my studies here. So, no problem. A little nervous when it comes to imagine the real life facing patients in the ward later.

My egg sister alarmed me about the life when you’re chosen to be in HKL for clinical attachment. Because she said, life would surely in trouble if you’re in HKL. The CI is quite bad in giving crosses for the clinical log book. She even told me, Klang hospital is still the best even though the CI will look for your mistakes and scold you in front of the people. But the CI gives crosses easily without you need to look for him/her up and down.

Anyways, I would like to wish everyone, a Happy Chinese New Year. And happy holiday!!!!!!
